Dirt Road Dogs!

Dirt Road Dogs offers an innovative approach to dog care for dogs of all sizes. Located on 17 acres just outside OKC in Harrah, OK this dog camp is truly one of a kind! We provide daycare, boarding and training services in a natural, open-spaced environment. No traditional kennel “runs” or artificial turf here!

Dogs enjoy going on daily pack hikes through our 8+ acres of hiking trails while also getting to play in our 2 acre play yard with small, balanced playgroups. They will get dirt under their paws while they run, dig, play, swim, hike and explore like their canine instincts demand. Our enrichment-based dog-care model provides a low-stress environment, giving your dog a fun, balanced experience that feels more like an adventure than a kennel.

  • "Dirt Road Dogs is the best thing to happen to my dog! It is a “camper’s” dream, starting from the minute she arrives. It is also an owner’s dream because from the sincere excited greeting (tail wags galore!) to the minute I pick her up (car nap!) I know she is not only in good hands, but having the time of her life. If you’ve ever been to human camp as a kid, you might think of bunkhouses, outdoor activities, swimming, and trying new things that stretch your comfort zone and normal social circles. That is exactly what happens here, and know also that if your dog has particular triggers or behavior habits that you want to have your dog work on, you can trust the DRD staff to have your back and your dog’s heart in mind with their training approach. Sometimes I book my dog for a weekend away when I know our human plans don’t cater to her, and we’re all happier come Monday. 1000% worth the drive. But they do pickup and drop off too, so no excuses!"

  • "The staff will put all your worries to ease! I am very pick with people keeping my pups for any length of time. When I called I had a list of questions/concerns; they not only answered but explained their approach to different situations! I have one girl who can be pretty leery of strangers and they have spent time to build her trust! We’ve been back twice now and will continue to go back! The second time we went one of my girls was whining and so excited to pull down their driveway! I also love that they post videos and pictures daily so I can check in on my girls. I recommend them to anyone looking for their pups to be cared for in a kindhearted, structured and safe way! Hands down the best daycare around the okc metro!"

  • "We had an extended vacation opportunity and the folks at Dirt Road Dogs took excellent care of our lab for 2 full weeks. They are great folks and their place gives the dogs a chance to play with other dogs, go on hikes, and just play in larger open but secured areas. The staff is very friendly with us and our pets. Their additional services like baths and grooming are an added bonus. We use Dirt Road Doges frequently throughout the year and our dog loves to go there. The last time I’m not sure she wanted to come home 😎"

Julianna is an amazing trainer and has helped us so much with Shelby who is a rescue dog with anxiety issues. We just did a two week board and train. Shelby learned so much. Unlike other places we have boarded her at when we go on vacation, she doesn’t want to come home. I highly recommend!"
